Contact Jig
I love this design. 2" contact is so easy with this. I know it was never that hard to begin with but this keeps its position on the pipe and doesn't sag like it would 5 welds in with old tape bands. The extra 1" stand off will give you more consistent densities and better geometry. The old machined aluminum model comes in at around $300 while I have kept this under $100 as of today. 3" and 4" contact jigs are also available for those XXS often found at mobile drilling rigs ( mud pipe ).
